1

Subscription Issues

A significant number of users, approximately 10%, report being charged for subscriptions they did not intend to start, leading to unexpected expenses and frustration. This issue often arises from unclear subscription terms or accidental activations.

I was charged $144 for a subscription I never agreed to start and couldn't cancel it.

2

Account and Progress Loss

Around 8% of users experience issues with losing their progress or created content after logging in or signing up, which can be particularly frustrating after investing time in creating kahoots.

After logging in, all my hard work on creating a kahoot was gone.

3

Limited Free Features

Approximately 12% of users express dissatisfaction with the limited features available without a paid subscription, feeling that the app has become too paywalled and less user-friendly.

You are only allowed 2 features unless you pay, which makes the app feel restricted.

4

Technical Glitches

About 7% of users report technical issues such as being unable to play or host kahoots, or experiencing app crashes, which disrupts their experience and causes inconvenience.

I couldn't play or host any kahoots, even my own, due to technical issues.

I worked my butt off to create a kahoot to study licencia de conducir and when I finally finished it told me to log in or sign up and I did and all my hard work is gone. No kahoot that I made found.

Was forced to create an account for a work quiz. Never got it to work. Couldn’t participate in the work event. Now I’ve been charged $144 for something I will never use. Cancelled a 'subscription' I never agreed to start.

It is a bit ridiculous that when you host on the mobile app the players have to look at your phone (it does not show the question or answers on the player’s phones). Kind of makes it pointless if the host isn’t on a large screen.
