Quotes of the week

Hear from some of the most impactful users to drive changes

The recent update to Khan Academy’s Draw and Exercise feature has been a huge step backward for the app. Previously, it used Apple’s built-in note-taking system, which was smooth, functional, and took full advantage of Apple Pencil’s capabilities. Now, Khan Academy has introduced its own version, and unfortunately, it’s missing key features that made the original so effective.

This app is really wonderful overall, but recently the draw on exercise function has been changed, and it is very difficult to work out problems with my apple pencil. There are awkward highlights that appear and sometimes my writing doesn’t appear. This is the only app I have this issue with.

Khan Academy is a terrific learning platform. Unfortunately, the latest app update has a significant Apple Pencil issue/bug affecting the ability to write on the screen. Attempts to write on the screen with Apple Pencil now aren’t recognized correctly, often drawing in the wrong direction, and palm rejection is also broken.
