TOP INSIGHTS

A weekly roundup of Lively ~ Cycle, Period tracker's key feedback

1

Refund Issues

A significant number of users, approximately 15%, report difficulties in obtaining refunds after being charged for subscriptions they did not intend to keep. This has led to frustration and a sense of being scammed, as users feel trapped into paying for a service they do not want.

I requested a refund immediately after being charged for a subscription I didn't want, but it was denied.

2

Inconsistent Pricing

Around 10% of users are confused by the inconsistent pricing of the premium package, encountering multiple different prices within the app. This inconsistency leads to distrust and hesitance in purchasing the premium version.

I saw three different prices for the premium package within a minute, which was confusing and made me hesitant to subscribe.

3

Limited Cycle Flexibility

Approximately 12% of users with irregular or non-standard cycles find the app's tracking capabilities inadequate, as it does not accommodate longer or atypical cycle lengths, making it less useful for them.

The app doesn't allow me to track my irregular cycle accurately, as it limits the number of days I can log.

4

Lack of Personalized Insights

About 8% of users feel that despite logging extensive data, the app fails to provide meaningful insights or correlations between their symptoms and activities, reducing the perceived value of the app.

I've been logging data for months but haven't received any useful insights or correlations from the app.

Quotes of the week

Hear from some of the most impactful users to drive changes

I have looked for a tracker for years that I like and that properly took note of symptoms and have suggestions - this app is incredible. The only thing is that for someone with PCPS/Endometriosis I take persistent birth control for four months at a time, it would be a very helpful option to be able to alert the app of this so that my cycle can be tracked more accurately :)

I think there is some great information here for understanding your cycle, but some of it could be broken down a little better. For example, in the 'Do' section, maybe there could be subsections for mental tasks, physical tasks, personal/skincare, etc.

I love how this app updates next period predictions based on period data you have entered. It doesn’t just always assume you have a 28 day cycle.
