A weekly roundup of Polaris®'s key feedback

1

Trail Data Issues

A significant number of users, approximately 15%, report missing or incorrect trail data, such as trunk trails disappearing or trails being marked as closed when they are not. This issue affects the app's core functionality for planning and navigating rides.

The app shows all the trails as closed in my state, even though I know they aren't.

2

App Freezing

Around 10% of users experience frequent app freezing or crashing, which severely impacts usability. This issue often occurs when attempting to open the app or use specific features like 'View My Ride'.

The app freezes almost every time I try to use it, making it unusable.

3

Connectivity Problems

Approximately 8% of users face connectivity issues, such as the app not syncing with RIDE COMMAND or losing connection frequently, which results in lost ride data and frustration.

The app struggles to connect and loses connection often, causing me to lose many logged rides.

4

User Interface Challenges

About 7% of users find the app's interface not user-friendly, particularly when planning routes or editing them, which detracts from the overall user experience.

Planning routes is frustrating as the app doesn't respond well to setting pins or editing routes.

I gave 1 star to draw attention to the fact that the trunk trails are gone from New York as well as Michigan. I've emailed Polaris, reported an issue in the feedback section, and emailed the help desk about this, but nothing is being done.

This brilliant App has struggled for years. It has a hard time connecting ALOT and loses connection ALOT. Lost many logged rides, about 4000 miles of trail riding are no longer in my history. So much potential with this app. I wish it worked.
