Major Highlights of the Week

Subscription Issues
Users are frustrated that a paid subscription on one device is not recognized on another, requiring multiple subscriptions for different devices. This inconsistency in subscription management leads to dissatisfaction and potential churn.
Route Planner Limitations
The route planner only shows charging stations for the first leg of a trip, making it difficult to plan long-distance travel effectively. Users find this limitation tedious and prefer apps that display all relevant chargers along the entire route.
Planning a trip only shows chargers for the first 50-100 miles, not the entire route, which is frustrating.
Notification Overload
Excessive and irrelevant notifications are causing annoyance, leading users to consider uninstalling the app. This issue highlights the need for more targeted and meaningful notifications to enhance user engagement.
The app sends too many meaningless notifications just to get me to open it, which is annoying.
Feedback Difficulties
Users struggle to leave feedback about charging stations, especially when they encounter issues like broken or unusable chargers. Simplifying the feedback process is crucial to improve user experience and data accuracy.
I can't easily leave feedback about broken chargers, which wastes my time driving around.
Price Visibility
The app lacks clear and consistent information on charging costs, making it difficult for users to plan expenses. Enhancing price transparency would significantly improve user satisfaction and decision-making.
Finding out charging costs is a pain, as prices are not clearly shown in the app.
Account Setup Frustrations
The app's account setup process is convoluted, with issues like missing verification emails and password recovery problems. Streamlining the onboarding process is essential to prevent user drop-off.

Quotes of the week

Hear from some of the most impactful users to drive changes

The route planner is a huge portion of this app’s capabilities, and this limitation just makes it tedious. The 'find a charging station' sections works as it should, but I won’t recommend this app until the developers get on the ball and displays an entire planned route’s charging stations.

I keep running into issues with the charging stations being down, damaged or unusable. Then I try to leave feedback to warn others and the app doesn’t allow me to do so, or makes it very difficult! Allow feedback to be left easily!

Can we have a Graph of how busy a Station is during a day. Like I can find in the google maps information on a Shop - busy scale- It could help for route planning.
