The app needs to show the entire list of ingredients when we scan or search for a food item.

3

Inconsistent Product Ratings

Around 8% of users are confused by inconsistent ratings for similar products, which raises doubts about the app's credibility and objectivity.

I have two products with the same ingredients, but one is rated excellent and the other mediocre.

4

Scanning and Search Issues

The app needs to show the entire list of ingredients when we scan or search for a food item. How do I know if a product is wrong if I don’t know what ingredients Yuka is analyzing? Yuka obviously has this information, just please present it to us.

I love the app, I use it a lot and I’ve been better at checking what I put on and in my body! Although I’ve scanned a few things that rated good, bought it and then went home and realized there was a toxic ingredient I was really trying to avoid. Phenoxyethanol. The app didn’t catch it until I had to report an issue.

I have two products from different brands, but with the same ingredients and the same values according to the app. However, one of them is excellent according to Yuka (75/100), and the other is mediocre (39/100). This makes me think they support some brands more than others, and that calls into question their credibility.
